[教材简解]

本课主要学习如何询问他人是否会做某项运动。本部分的场景是在学校的篮球场上，Mike,Wang Bing和Liu Tao在打篮球。教学重点是句型Can you…?和答句Yes,I can./No,I can’t.根据学生的年龄特点，教学中可以采用情境教学法，让学生在愉悦轻松的氛围中掌握所学知识。

[目标预设]

一、知识目标：

1.句型I can ...  You can... Can you ...及其应答Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.

2.词汇的听说读写basketball

3.听说读：well, can’t, have a try, yeah

二、能力目标：

1、在实际生活中能用I can ... Can you ... Have a try. Very well.进行语言交际活动;

2、借助一些肢体语言，能猜测新单词的意思。

三、情感目标：

教导学生树立健康运动的观念，激励学生建立自信心并有勇于尝试的精神。

1.能够理解Story time部分内容，能够模仿朗读。

2.能听懂、会说、会读、会运用句型I can.... Can you...? Yes, I can. No, I can’t.

3.能理解play basketball very well, Have a try.

[教学过程]

Step 1  Warm up

Enjoy the song.

It’s from Zootopia. The song is trying everything.

1.  At this lesson, let’s try to do something.Let’s read together.

   1.Try to sing a new song. 2.Try to say the new words and sentences.

   3.Try to read the story. 4.Try to act the story.

2. Free talk:

I like singing songs.Do you like songs?Let’s sing the song together.

2.Sing the song: <I can sing>.

3.T: What sentences can you hear from the song?你能从歌曲中听到什么句子？

 Teach: I can...   Can you...?Yes, I can./No, I can’t.can’t=can not

Step 2  Presentation

1. T: Great! We can sing and dance. What about our friends?

 Look at this picture. Who are they?

Ss: Wang Bing, Mike and Liu Tao. 板书人物

T: They are in the playground. What are they doing? Look, what’s in Liu Tao’s hand?  

Teach: basket+ball=basketball  play basketball

T:Look!(操作打篮球动作)I can play basketball.

Can you play basketball?

S:Yes, I can./No, I can’t.

（出示课题）So today we will learn Unit4 I can play basketball

2. Try to ask

(1) Can Wang Bing play basketball?

3. Try to answer

With the questions, let’s watch a funny cartoon. Shall we go?

(1) T:Can you get the answers?

Can Wang Bing play basketball? (板书 Can he....?)

S: Yes, he can.

T: How does Liu Tao ask?

S: Can you play basketball, Wang Bing?

Listen and read. Try again.点名读

T:What does Wang Bing say?

S: Wang Bing says:”Yes, I can.”

T:Wang Bing can play basketball. Look, he can shoot.So Liu Tao Praise him “手势”

S: Nice. （板书）

T: If you are Liu Tao, what will you say?

(2) Can Mike play basketball ?

T:Wang Bing can play basketball. What about Mike?

 Can Mike play basketball?

S: Yes, he can.

T: Wang Bing adores(崇拜) Mike very much.Why?

S: He can play basketball very well.

Teach: play...very well

T: So Liu Tao praises him” ...”

S: Cool.

(3) Can Liu Tao play basketball ?

T: What about Liu Tao? Can he play basketball?

S: Yes, he can. / No, he can’t.

T：You think he can/ can’t play basketball.  Boys and girls, take out your book, turn toP25（P3&4）, try to find out the answer.

2人小组合作朗读第3、4两幅图，找出答案。

T: Look at picture 3. At first, Can Liu Tao play basketball?

S: No, he can’t.

T: He is sad at first.

T: But at last “Can he play basketball?” 

S: Yes, he can.

T: Why? Why can heplay basketball at last?

Because he has a try.” Mike encourages him “have a try”

     T:Liu Tao has a try, so he can play basketball.It’s...

   S: Great.

   T: Boys and girls, you’ve got the main idea of the story. Look at the bla ckboard. Let’s say togehter.

   T: Liu Tao tries hard, and he can play very well now.

 谚语：So have a try , maybe you can do it!

       Try hard, maybe you can do it well.
