一、教学目标

1.知识目标：

（1）能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词January, February, call, May, June, September, October, November.

（2）能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型The Spring Festival is in January or February. People eat rice dumplings at this festival.

（3）能听懂、会说和会读单词或短语Spring Festival, Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Double Ninth Festival.

（4）能正确理解、朗读和表演课文内容。

2.能力目标：能正确理解、朗读和表演课文内容。

3.情感目标：引导学生知晓我国各节日的习俗。

二、教学重点

 （1）掌握四会单词：January, February, call, May, June, September, October, November

 （2）学掌握四会句型：

The Spring Festival is in January or February.

People eat rice dumplings at this festival.

 （3）掌握三会单词或短：Spring Festival, Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Double Ninth Festival.

三、教学难点

能复述四个中国传统节日的习俗。

四、教学方法

1.任务型教学法：学生在完成任务的过程中，提高了综合语言运用能力。

2.多媒体辅助教学法：设计新颖，化解了教学难点，提高了学生学习积极性。

五、教具准备

多媒体课件、图片、卡片。

六、教学过程

Step1.Warm-up

1. Greetings

2. Try to talk

My name is Zhou Xiaoyu. You can call me Miss Zhou. I like climbing moutains.

I also like eating. So I am a foodie.

3. Try to guess

(1)T: What food do I like? Let’s guess. There is some rice in it. It has green clothes. What is it?

S: rice dumpling

T: What festival do we eat rice dumplings?

S: At the Dragon Boat festival. (teach: rice dumpling, Dragon Boat festival)

(2)T: Next, it’s a pie. It looks like a moon. What is it?

S: It’s a moon cake.

T: What festival do we eat moon cake s?

S: At the Mid-Autumn festival. (teach: Mid-Autumn festival)

4. Try to ask

T: Look at the two pictures. Dragon Boat festival and Mid-Autumn festival. Can you tell me the topic? What will we talk about?

S: Chinese festivals.

T: Today, we will learn: Unit7 Chinese festivals. we are Chinese and there are a lot of delicious food in Chinese festivals. So I like Chinese festivals.

T: When you see the topic, what do you want to know? Can you ask some questions?

S:……

T: Today we mainly talk about what are they? When are they? What so people do and what do people eat?

Step2.While-reading

1.Watch, find and match

How many festivals are mentioned in the passage? What are they?

Teach four festivals: the Spring Festival，the Dragon Boat Festival,  the Mid-Autumn Festival, the  Double Ninth Festival.

T: Look at the four pictures. Can you match the festival names and the pictures?

Match them.

2. Listen and match

当学生介绍四个节日的时间时，老师可以说：I have another question here. In the story time, it tells us the four festivals in this way. Why? ( 按时间先后顺序)

当学生介绍四个节日人们的活动时，老师可以说：There are different activities at different festivals.

当学生介绍四个节日人们所吃的食物时, 老师可以说：Oh, Chinese people really like eating. It’s fun.

3.Let’s enjoy.

Enjoy some pictures about other Chinese Festivals.

T: Boys and girls, we learn a lot from the story time, right? Are there only four Chinese festivals in China? No. There are so many Chinese traditional festivals in a year. How are these festivals? How do you feel?

Chinese traditional festivals means blessing, fun, reunion and memory. It also means food. Let’s enjoy more Chinese traditional festivals.

Step 4 Homework

1. Read the story three times.

2.Introduce your favorite Chinese festival to your friends or parents.
