T: Yes, this holiday is very long. So i can do many things in this holiday. I can read books. I can visit many places.

1. Watch and answer:

T: Today, some children are talking in the classroom. Who are they?

What are they talking about? Let’s watch the cartoon.

 S: They are Mike, Yang Ling, Su Hai and Liu Tao.

T: What holiday plans are they talking about?

S: They are talking about summer holiday plans .

T: Yes, they are talking about their summer holiday plans.

2.T:About their summer holiday plans, what do you want to know? Think and answer.

  S:Where/what/How/how long/....

Where will they go for the holiday ?

What will they do ?

How will they go there?

How long will they stay there?

  T:Oh,you have so many questions. Today, let’s solve these questions first.(板书)

2. Listen and say:(听2遍)

First, Let’s learn about Mike and Yang Ling’s summer holiday plan.

Learning Tips:

边看边记住Mike的相关信息(可在纸上记录下来)。

T: Where will Mike go for the holiday ? Will he go to Beijing? (教授Will…go …?及其回答)

S: No, he won’t. won’t=will not

T: Will he go to London?

S: Yes, he will.

T: So we can say”Mike will go to London for the holiday.”

T: How will he go there?

S: Mike will go there by plane.

T: What will he do in London?

S: Mike will visit his grandparents in London.

T: How long will he stay there?

S: Mike will stay there for a month.

Second, We have known Mike’s summer holiday plan. How about Yang Ling?

Let’s talk about Yang Ling. Who can ask the question? Who can answer?

T: Where will Yang Ling go for the holiday?

S: She will go to Beijing.

T: How will she go there?     

S: She will...

T: What will she do there?

S: Yang Ling will visit her aunt and uncle in Beijing.

3. Read and say

T: We know Mike will go to London for the holiday. Yang Ling will go to Beijing. What about Su Hai and Liu Tao?

Learning Tips: 4人一组阅读课文，划出文中Su Hai 和 Liu Tao的计划，并在小组内介绍一下他们的计划。（以小语篇来介绍 ）

上黑板贴关键词组，并像这样说:

… will … for the holiday. She/He will go there by... She/He will go...

听录音介绍这三处地方

    （2）Taipei :Taipei 101 building: It is the tallest building in Taipei.

               It has 101 floors above ground and five floors underground.

         T: Oh, how tall it is!

T:By the way, how long will they stay there? Do you know? You can guess.

   S: …

   T:Maybe they will stay there a few days. Maybe a long time. But They must come   back when the summer holiday is over. Yes?

   S: Yes!

4. T:Now, let's read their summer holiday plans.

(1)Read after the tape.

4.      Think and talk

Nowadays, the world is suffering the novel corona virus(新冠病毒). When we are outing, how to prevent the novel corona virus? What can we do to protect ourslves?

We can't/shouldn't...  spit everywhere/eat wild animals/go to places with so many people
