四上Unit 8 Dolls  (Story time)

一、教学目标

1、通过歌曲,学生能够理解人体部位单词。

2、通过洋娃娃介绍,学生能够听懂、会说、会读单词haireyesnosemouth, ears

3、通过对比外貌迥异的娃娃及听录音选择等活动,学生能够理解会说形容bigsmall,long,short

4、在听老师介绍自己最喜爱的娃娃后,学生能够准确运用句型His/Her…is/are…

5、学生能综合运用Look at my/our/this/...  His...  Her...等句型来介绍

自己的洋娃娃。

二、教学重难点

三、教学过程

Step1 Warm up

1.Greetings.

2.Let’s enjoy a songHead Shoulders Knees and Toes

T: Before singing,we should know the question:What do you hear in the song?

  S: Body parts.

  T: What are they?

  Review:head,shoulders,knees,toes

Learn: mouth,nose, ears, eyes(板书)

3.Let’s play a game about body parts:Say the body parts quickly. Are you ready? Go.

(1)Review:eyes,nose,mouth ears

(2)Show the picture of “hair”    T: What’s this?

Teach the word: hair (chair)(板书)

4.T:Oh, look! It’s a doll. How is the girl doll?

S:She’s beautiful!

  T:The girl doll is beautiful!I like it very much.

Today, let’s learn about dolls. Unit 8 Dolls .(板书)

Step2  Presentation

1.T:Look, there is a doll show. Today,Yang Ling,Su Hai,Liu Tao and Wang Bing bring some dolls and show them to each other. Whose dolls are they? Let’s watch and choose.

(1)Watch the cartoon

T:Which is the girls’ doll?

S:A is the girls’ doll. (板书图片)

T:Which is the boys’ doll?

S:C is the boys’ doll.(板书图片)

2.T:Good job! First, let’s look at the girls’ doll. What does she look like?

(1)Listen and circle.

Tips:Take out your exercises paper, listen carefully and catch the key words.

(2)Check the answers

a.T:Now,look,my hair is very long. What about ...’s hair? Is his hair long?

S:No.

T:Right. ...’s hair is short.     Teachshort(for)  

        Ss:My hair is long/short.

b.T:Look at my eyes.Who can describe my eyes?

  S:Your eyes are small.

  T:Can you describe your partner?

  S-S:Your eyes are big/small.

c.T:The doll’s nose is small,what about ...’s nose?

  S:...’s nose is big.

  T:Yes, her nose is big.(her)

T:Can you describe ...’s nose?

  Ss:Her nose is big/small.

d.Read the sentence:Her mouth is small/big.

3.T:Well done! Can you describe this girl doll? Let's talk.

    Work in pairs,talk about how to describe .

Think it over:How do Liu Tao and Wang Bing describe their doll? 

(1)Let's talk.

T:Look at the boy bodd.How do you describe the doll?

Let’s talk about it with your partner.OK? (板书句子)

(2)Work in pairs.

(3)Show S2-3 pairs.

(4)T:Great!Look!The doll is wearing the crown.He’s a king now!

Teach the new word: king (sing)

5.T:OK! Let’s read after the tap .Pay attention to the stress and intonation.

6.T:Wonderful!There are three ways of reading:Read after a student;read together;

read in roles. You can work in four,choose one of them to read the story.

Step3 Consolidation

1.T:Good job. I have a doll,too. Would you like to enjoy my doll?

S:Yes.

T:OK.deng deng deng deng Look! This is my favourite doll. His name is Superman.

How is the doll?

S:He’s handsome/cool...

T:Yeah! He’s a hero in my heart!Now, let’s watch him carefully.Look at his hair.

S1:His hair is short.    S2:His hair is black.

T:His hair is black and short. Who can go on? His eyes...

Ss:...

T:His eyes,nose and mouth are big.But...

S:But his ears are small.

T:Good! Look, Miss Lu is in black. ... is in...  What colour is he in?

S:Blue.

T:Yes, he is in blue. What can he do? Do you know?

S:He can run/fly/jump/...

T:Wow,he’s so cool!

  Repeat:

This is my doll.

His name is Superman.

His hair is black and   short.

His eyes,nose and mouth   are big.

But his ears are small.

He is in blue(穿着蓝色的衣服).

He can run/ fly...

He's so cool/handsome/...

He's a hero in my heart.

2.T:Do you like my doll?                    

S:Yes, I do.

T:Do you have any dolls?                 

S:Yes!

  T:Can you describe your dolls now?       

S:Yes!

T:OK! Take out your dolls. Let’s work in four, describe your doll in groups.

(1)There are some useful sentences.  

(2)Work in four.

(3)Recommend one of your group,describe your doll. Act(3-4 groups)

3.T:Great!Look at these dolls.They’re different.

So each doll has his own character,just like us.

每个娃娃都有自己的特点,就像我们人一样。

Every one of you is unique beautiful.每一个你都是独一无二的美丽。

T:Please believe yourself! Come on! You’re the best! 

Ss:Come on! You’re the best!

  T:Say it to your partner.

Ss:Come on! You’re the best!

T:That’s all.You did a very good job! Clap your hands for yourselves!

1.Read and imitate Story time.

认真朗读模仿故事,并背诵。

2.Describe the features of your partner with each other.

  和你的同桌互相描述彼此的五官吧。
